The Mustard Seed Communities
The Mustard Seed Communities provides housing and care for thousands of disabled individuals across Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Malawi, Nicaragua, and Zimbabwe. Neurostronger has partnered with MSC since 2022. In response to the 2024 crisis in Haiti, Neurostronger raised $10,350 to build cottages for more than 59 disabled children seeking refuge at Jacob’s Ladder, an MSC location in Jamaica.
The Vijaya Mary School
The Vijaya Mary School(located in Vijayawada, India) provides educational opportunities to children with severe vision impairments and blindness. In early 2022, the roof of their girls dormitory building suffered severe damages during a storm, causing constant water leakages. Neurostronger partnered with the school in 2023, and after learning about the condition of the building, we raised over $6,500 to completely cover the costs of repair. Neurostronger's partnership with Vijaya Mary continues to grow, as we are working on adding more stories from the school's exceptional students into our anthology.
Ability Path, Redwood City
Ability Path, based in Redwood City, provides essential care programs for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. Partially funded by the government, the organization faces the risk of reducing the number of people it can serve. This summer, Neurostronger raised $5,180 to provide essential speech and occupational therapy services and early intervention to over 500 children with developmental disabilities. Helped organize a summer picnic for Ability Path residents, giving them a day of joy with games like Giant Zenga and Slapjack on the grass.
From Ability Path:
"..Thanks to Neurostronger’s incredible gift, our organization is able to provide essential speech and occupational therapy services and early intervention to over 500 children with developmental disabilities, creating a solid foundation for a lifetime of greater independence. Together, we’re building a brighter, more inclusive future for children and their families. We are deeply grateful for Neurostronger’s generosity and dedication to our mission."
